Based in Bolton and Eccles, Diamond Bus North West provides a mix of Franchised and Contracted Bus Services covering the Greater Manchester area.
Since its acquisition in March 2015, Diamond Bus North West has grown to become a significant part of the North West division of Rotala.
In 2024 Diamond North West became one of the first pioneers of Greater Manchester’s Bee Network winning many franchises across all three tranches.
Diamond North West has grown to become a multi-award winning operator, achieving outstanding recognition in both the business community and the Bus & Coach industry, including being announced as the first ever winner of the Contracted Operator of the Year at the 2025 UK Bus Awards.
Diamond North West also leads the way in employment standards being a Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter Member, along with achieving both Living Wage and Living Hours accreditations.
The North West division also houses Rotala’s own in-house training centre – Rotala Training Academy, where our dedicated and experienced Training Instructors and Examiners facilitate all levels of PCV training and test requirements, ensuring our trainee drivers are in safe hands while starting their new career path within the Rotala Group.
