In 2025, we introduced a new company into our Rotala family – Storagely Ltd, a Self Storage Business.

The Rotala Group previously had its roots firmly planted in the passenger transport industry. Since forming Rotala Limited the new board of directors are looking for opportunities to diversify our business model. A logical decision was made to capitalise on existing land we own and so our Storagely journey began.

Storagely first launched a new website www.storagely.co.uk, making it simple for customers to register and book container storage.

In its first year, Storagely opened two storage container sites providing self-storage in Dudley and self-storage in Preston. Our business has invested to develop these sites with architectural plans, and the installation of high quality steel containers, state of the art security including CCTV, lighting and electronic gated access, to provide a secure storage solution to members of the public and businesses.

During Storagely’s first few months of trading, we acheived great success at both sites. Storagely then further added more storage options along with the ability to purchase storage accessories online.

Storagely, represents the vision of the Rotala board to develop a strong and versatile business that can meet the challenges of a changing market and can grow through innovation and investment.

There is plenty more to come from Storagely in the self storage world.
